It sounds like they don't know how to hide the whole spectrum yet. Like, they can hide gold because all they have to block is the yellowish part of the spectrum of light and whatnot.
It they ever made true invisibility, that could be good and bad like people have said already. Right now, I guess terrorists could sneak gold out of the country...
