I'm going also. We'll have to meet up (or perhaps I'll just watch you from a distance).

I haven't registered under GT's name because Neo has made no mention of sending a representative. I don't even know if he can or how he goes about it. But I'll be going for another site since I live close enough. However, I'd like to wear a GT shirt when I go...
The other site would never know what a GT jersey really stood for...
If you can arrange to get GT a spot, I'll go with you.

Maybe we can all contribute some $$$ to getting a license? I'd like to go with you guys. Let's organize a meeting with Neo sometime soon. Sound good?

Re: GBA 2 Debut at E3
If Neo buys a business license for GT, he could make us all staff members and then we could all go.
But if he decides to be a meanie and won't lay down the green, then I suggest that you guys throw up a cheap (ie. crappy) website on video games and register a license for it. Just know that you have to register nearly a month in advance to the showing at the latest.

No one has told me how much this business license would cost.

Re: GBA 2 Debut at E3
I agree with Stonecutter there... I won't go so far as to bash the DS but anyone who has a preference will belittle the use of another function.
Now, when I think about the Touch Screen on the DS, I think it's a pretty spiffy idea, and fanboy-ism aside, it's pretty innovative. As thatmariolover stated, the Touch Screen is better than a D-pad in terms of control, which is true. However... For that better control in movement in the game, you sacrifice versatility. You need your whole hand to keep the stylus sturdy and control it on the Touch Screen. A hand you need to press buttons and such... I don't know many people who have 3 hands. Some games are developed so you don't need those buttons but eventually you will waver for the games that can do so much more. That is why the Analog Control is very much a necessity.
The PSP's disc control is almost like an analog with 360 degrees of motion, only that it doesn't stick out like a joystick, and I think it's damn impressive. It's nothing like just a round D-pad because D-pads aren't as smooth.
But of course... as the DS' touch screen's capability was compromised, the fans will beg to differ and compromise the ability of the PSP's control capability. There will always be heated arguements about such... but this topic is about Nintendo releasing another Gameboy.
I want to ask this to the Nintendo fans who've shelled out $150 for the DS...
are you now happy to know that they are planning a more powerful handheld at a cheaper price? Or are you kind of upset that they came from behind with this announcement? It may be known that Nintendo was going to release a Gameboy behind the DS, however it wasn't known that it were to be this early after the DS' launch. People who purchased the DS are now stuck with what Nintendo plans to be a Palm PDA'ish handheld, while all the Software and new innovative games go to the codename "Jesus."
Now, people with good jobs may be able to shell out another lump sum of money to get this new Gameboy, but what about the kids who were so ecstatic to finally own a DS? Younger kids have no need for a PDA'ish handheld, and they will be begging for this new Gameboy.
All fanboy-ism aside, my respect for Nintendo has only diminished with this kind of market strategy they are pulling. Of course I'm a Sony fan, and many of you know this... but I have respect for entity's like Sega and Nintendo for their innovation, and they are legends in the gaming industry. But my respect goes only so far, and now that I hear Nintendo pulls a fast one with it's customers..... my respect has gone. The only thing I can look forward to is the Ps3 and the Revolution. I can't begin to disclose my thoughts on this handheld market, because it's getting nasty.

Re: GBA 2 Debut at E3
The only reason the DS even came into existence is because Yamauchi hadn't screwed things up for the company (that he fails to realize he's no longer the president of) in a while. The urge to screw is a powerful urge indeed.

In depends on which state you live in. You're a Texas man right? Well you gotta check prices on available business licenses in the state of Texas.
Your state will determine the cost and availability (just having money won't get you a license). In some cases a license for a small business can range from $100-$1000, but it really depends on your place of residence (ie. where the business will be established and primarily maintained). Also like I said you can't always just get one by having the money to pay for it, sometimes you're required to meet certain standards. Your age, employment, income, things like that, all come into play (though again it differs depending on where you live).
It could very well be a simple $100 down for you, but I wouldn't know what the state of Texas offers. You'll have to find a website that deals with these things and check it out further.
