Thanks for the birthday wishes guys. Wow, 22 years old. I guess I should start being an adult or something now...

Anyway, I haven't received my gift from my parents yet. Won't get that until I go home this weekend so I will tell you guys what it is then.

From the slave I received...

A radio-controlled Dodge Ram! (Not a picture of exact model, but close enough.)

It's pretty cool and I'm having a good time with it. Makes me feel like less of an old fart.

On the night of my birthday, the slave surprised me by decorating my apartment while I was gone taking a test. I didn't see it coming. I forgot that she could go get my extra key from my sister. She's a tricky one.

Anyway, later that night, we went to a local restaurant to play some pool. At about midnight, we met up with some of my friends and a girl who was celebrating her 21st at the bars. Got a free Kamikaze from the bar and then JS bought me a double tequila sunrise. Woohoo!

Man, I can't wait until I turn 21 and can enjoy such pleasures that you do.

...I mean, legally anyways.

UPDATE:

Well, I went home over the weekend to get my present from my parents and visit them.

Guess what it is? A 20 Gig iPod. Yay! I was totally not expecting it. It's great to be able to carry my cd collection around in the palm of my hand.

A couple of complaints:

1. It doesn't work with my computer. I have Windows Me and no firewire or USB 2.0 ports. Hopefully I can take care of this soon.

2. I already scratched the chrome on the back. No idea how I did it. I don't remember setting it on anything that could scratch it...

3. I wish it could work with my car without having to buy extra stuff. I'm going to try to see if I can connect it directly. If not, I'll just have to buy a radio transmitter. Until then, I'm still carrying my cd case with me when I go driving.

All in all, a good gift that I am very pleased with.

Also, to all you Xbox Live users, I got a headset over the weekend so now we can talk while playing. No more playing with a silent partner dropCGCF.
