Re: What did you get for Valentines?
Well, what I had planned to do and what I actually did are two different things. What I had planned to do was write some love notes and attach flowers to them. I would then get to her classes before her and place them on her desk without her (hopefully) knowing.
But then I had, for some reason, came to the conclusion that V Day was Tuesday and hadn't done anything yet by Sunday. Then I got sucked into helping Angela and her church youth group with their dinner thetre and that last until 8 o'clock. I was stilling planning on doing it, but I got into a fight with my mom when I got home and by the time everything with that had been settled, it was, like, 10:30 and I was completely drained. Plus, I had a doctor's appointment this morning, so if I was going to get the notes on her desks before she got to her classes, I'd have had to get to school early and hope that the teachers would put the notes on her desks for me (yeah, right).
So it didn't work out.
Fortunately, we had been looking around at Wal*Mart (she was buying stuff for her mom and dad) when she was looking at this purse thing and saying she wanted to buy it, but she shouldn't since she was supposed to be shopping for other people, so I bought it for her (very secretly and smoothly, too; I told her go wait outside while I did "something").
So, I was able to give her something today (even if I hadn't bought the purse, I would have figured something out...). I felt bad, though, since it wasn't exactly what I had planned or anything...
It was kind of cheap, too...
Anyway...
I got a pillow from her. It may sound, eh, strange, but this is a freaky cool pillow. Its like if God took a piece of heaven and formed into a very very comfortable, heart shaped pillow.
She had one in her room when I was at her house a week ago, and I
/me would like to point out that, at this point in telling the story, his brother came downstairs and announced that he would be sleeping on the couch.
/me, being forced into going upstairs, had to go through an elaborate...thing...of copying and pasting the above message to a text document and saving it to disk so he could transport the post to the laptop upstairs
/me thinks his brother should spend more time sleeping upstairs rather than watching TV downstairs
Anyway...
I was in her room and pretty much physically attached to the pillow. It is the greatest thing ever invented by man.
So, I was feeling pretty bad because her gift for me was greater than my gift for her (she had also gotten a little Valentine card and a note and stuff). It was made even worse that she, apparently, has a number of admirers.
One guy actually asked her out, despite knowing she's going out with me (stupid...person...). Another guy was planning on asking her, but didn't when someone told him she has a boyfriend.
But he, the second guy, did already buy a flower and some chocolates and gave them to her. Despite being cliched, that is completely the thing that would beat out my purse (well, Angela kept saying the purse was better....and it does have more practical purpose...but still...). He was giving them to her and I was standing RIGHT THERE. Ugh...
Then, of course, Angela had to actually carry it through the halls and stuff while we were heading to the Drama room to pick people up for the musical practice. Since I was walking beside her, everyone we passed assumed the flower was from me. So...freaking...awkward...
*sigh*
/me shrugs and walks away

Re: What did you get for Valentines?
No one had time to do anything for Valentine's in this house. Later in the day a box of chocolate was purchased for the family. I suggested we go tomorrow and buy more Valentine's items when they're 50% off.

That's when you confidently bring her close to you and kiss her. Who cares about Public Displays of Affection. It'd be worth it to boil the boy's bum.
Anywho... oh boy, today was great. ... HAHAH oh man... so good.
So, it was a normal day of school and I kept telling m'lady that we'd go to the Chocolate Cafe if I found the money for it (currently unemployed), which got her pretty excited. Also, during the week, I kept telling her that since we spend so much time together, I'd never have time to shop. However, I had shopped in the morning before she woke up, so all was good. She assumed I had slept in (Sunday).
Today? I put a rose in a mug (/w water) and plastic wrapped it tight (/w air hole) ... and stuck it in a beanie to keep it warm. Then, I left the rose, stuffed cow, small floral greeting card ("I love you"), and heart necklace in my car for the school day. I treated the rose carefully because it could have frozen. Anyways... after school I booked it to my car, took everything out, and set it up on her car seat along with a very personal letter, all for her to discover on her own time after her afterschool activities.
Well, she loved it. She was more surprised when it was bought from a company related to Zales (Piercing Pagoda).
Where was I? Well, we ate at Subway (because she had to go to show choir before my family had dinner). I gave her a ride to Show Choir and said I might leave a car for her to get herself home and walk back on my own. But, I decided that'd be too much hassle and I wouldn't mind the game of musical cars we'd have to play if I picked her up. So... I went to pick her up at 9, didn't see her, and walked around the school. Now, my keys are stuck in the ignition, so I have to leave my car unlocked (with the keys inside!). Meaning... while I was looking for her in the school, she came around from the other side of the building, saw my car, and assumed I had left it there and walked home. I went to pick her up from Show Choir, and she left without knowing I was there, with my car! It was hilarious, but it cleared up.
The hot tub was relaxing. And no, we weren't dirty in the hot tub. As for later, on the other hand...
But yes, I am a virgin. I'd have it no other way.
Kickass Valentine's Day.

Re: What did you get for Valentines?
I had my waitress sit down across from me and talk for a while. I was going to get her number but I'd had quite a bit to drink...I did talk to Claire for a while....she's older...26...and she asked me to come back sometime.
But that other thing....on page 2....nothing can compare

Wow, that's mean.
Anyway, I might have done something like that (probably something more like put my arm around her or something), but it wasn't like the guy was putting the moves on her. He had bought the flowers and chocolate and was planning on asking her out, but then learned that she was taken. He didn't want to waste the stuff so he gave it to her anyway. That's what I understand, anyway.
And when he was giving it to her, he even made up some story about he was giving them to all his friends and stuff. He was clearly emabarassed already.
So....
