Ah... I have heard of this. What made it different though is that the sex was consensual between the two individuals and was only illegal in the eyes of law.

So, in a way, I am glad for the both of them for finally being able to be married and have their relationship recognised legally.

That said, it is undeniable that there are serious ethical concerns regarding the situation. What was a middle age (I actually do not know how old she was when the relationship started) woman doing with a 12 year old boy? Fair enough, the marriage was dissolving but she could have at least taken some time out to think about the whole situation...
