Collateral was amazing. The whole night-life of the city was fantastic. And Tom Cruise.......oh man, he's a good actor when he's a mean son of a bitch that will shoot you in the head if you look at him the wrong way.

I recommend everyone go see that movie.

A few movies I really, really like that aren't oscar worthy/critically acclaimed.

Three Kings
The Saint
Equilibrium (Matrixish but better than The Matrix in almost every way)
The Negotiator
Zelig (Ok, this is really old relative to the rest but... meh)
Thirteen Days
Almost Famous

It's a low budget Training Day, with a more gritty and realisitc approach.

Plus, Ray Liotta is in it.
