Re: 4 Flops hard
Nice score. Makes me wonder how the PS2 version will turn out now Hopefully its not too different from what it is right now for the 'Cube.

Re: 4 Flops hard
So in a time when people were saying the survival horror genre was becoming quite a bit thin (well, I don't agree but I've heard many people say that), IGN calls RE4 the "Best Survival Horror game ever made"? Brilliant!
Can't wait to play it...
I wanna see why the hell Ada is still there... I wonder if they'll actually explain it like they explained how Wesker was still alive in RE:CV ;o

It's so nice to see a game score so well. I'd love to see graphics.

Crash, you bastard! You tricked me there with your somewhat misleading thread title. =/
Oh well.
I plan to get the Gamecube version, because of the Gamecube's graphic capability.

Re: 4 Flops hard
Okay, so I want to play this game, but I've never (fully) played any other RE, and with the control scheme they have (much less the save system, ugh) I probably never will.
But I have to have the games stories, or I will feel completely wrong when playing RE4 (never mind if it'll make sense or not; it just will feel wrong [my mom thinks I'm obssesive compulsive]). So, I thought, "I could read the novels!" But I didn't want to go and spend money on them (and distract me from other, better stuff) if they absolutely sucked or had nothing to do with the games.
So what I'm asking is, are the novels worth it? Would I be able to read those instead of playing the games, and still get the whole story? Or are they poo? Are they worth buying, or will a library work (I've actually seen them there...)?

Great. I just put my preorder down.
This will be the first RE game I play.

I didn't even know there were novels...
I suggest just going to gamefaqs and reading plot guides... They say what's goin down and they're free...

That and it wont come out for PS2 for at least 9 more months...
Anyways. Im impressed it scored that high. Looks like it plays as well as it scored. I think I'll read through the whole thing now...

Re: 4 Flops hard
Wow, I never thought I'd say this again, but... I want to play a Resident Evil game again. I haven't said that in over 5 years since RE 2.
Time to start saving the pennies...
