I was like that myself at first. I used to trust IGN for reviews, mainly because I made myself believe that they were fair reviews when in fact the only reason I liked them so much is because they gave the N64 games good rating. I started to get mad at them for giving bad ratings to the GameCube games and getting pissed that X-box games were higher. I finally realized that those actions are all my fanboy tendancies and I think I've got it under control. (God, I sound like I'm in a therapy group spilling my guts
).
Anyway, the point is, we shouldn't be all hypocritical about IGN and Famitsu ratings just because of their certain bias'. That is there opinion and a decent indicator of the quality of the game, but it doesn't determine if you like the game or not.
