Re: Your top 5 songs.
Off the top of my head and in no particular order:
On Distant Shores by Five Iron Frenzy (If I had to put them in order, this one would probably be #1)
Burn the End by Living Sacrifice (Beautiful classical guitar song stuck in the middle of a wicked metal song.)
Undeceived by Extol (Best metal song I've ever heard.)
Bleed by Collective Soul (It's the guitar solo!)
The Dream Club Murders by Dead Poetic (This song does everything right in my book.)
Panic Prone by Chevelle (One of those songs that starts off slow and builds beautifully. Heck, just go buy Chevelle's new disc. Every song is awesome.)
The End by Greenwheel (Similar to above in that it is a song that builds but this one is not just beautiful, it's gorgeous.)
94 Hours by As I Lay Dying (That double bass blast is nuts!)
I better stop now while I can...

Well if you really liked them to begin with, she wouldn't have ruined the band for you... perhaps the song, but not the band.

I hardly ever listen to the radio and don't usually watch sitcoms on the WB or whatever network had the show that song was on, so I can safely say that I've never heard it. And since I've never heard it, it doesn't bother me.
Plus, I've seen Greenwheel live about 4 times and enjoyed myself wuite a bit so I've become fairly attached to the band. It would take a lot to ruin them for me. Although this long wait for their second CD is starting to annoy me...

From what I can remember, the song, Breathe , done by Melissa Etheridge wasn't for a movie or show. There was one of their songs used for Smallville but it was their version and it wasn't that song. And yes they rock in concert! I enjoyed them quite a bit too.
Here's a link to their version of Breathe

Re: Your top 5 songs.
Look what the top5 was in the top2000 that one of our Dutch radio stations broadcasts every year between christmas and new year:
1 Queen - Bohemian rhapsody (1975)
2 Eagles - Hotel California (1977)
3 Deep Purple - Child in time (1972)
4 Led Zeppelin - Stairway to heaven (1971)
5 Boudewijn de Groot - Avond (1997)
A Dutch singer made it in the top 5!
The cool thing is, I already loved that guy... He's just so cool.
You should really try that song.

Re: Your top 5 songs.
Alone I Break is a sweet song. Also cool to see another KMFDM fan. We have a few already. Although I think you might have just returned the balance to what it was before...
Also, +rep for coming to the boards, in honor of reputation awareness month, and for having an awesome username.

Yeah, I had a hand in the KMFDM fan-club in my absence ¦-Þ
GameMaster requested me to return (again), so I did. I'm busy lately, so I won't post much. But, I bet that'll make at least some people happy, war har har.
Making a new name was moderately important. I have slightly different moods under different aliases, heh. Cowsai's the closest to my norm. Oh yeah, new name also because I didn't want to have to get a mod to change my e-mail for Rndm (which is required to fix the password).
As for my signature: Jason and a few others said "They always come back." I don't mind helping him feel more correct about it.
Back, not necessarily the same.
