I haven't really looked for dead pixels on my DS, but I will now that you mentioned them. LCD monitors are gay.......there's no way I would drop the amount of money needed to buy a good one just for gaming. You can get a 21 inch CRT monitor for very cheap now, and the CRT monitors have faster refresh rates, and the colors are more vibrant.
