Re: Ds Kiosks in stores
Played Prime Hunters or whatever its called at my EB yesterday. They only have one kiosk, so there was a bunch of stupid kids and their mothers kind of pressuring me to hurry up and finish so they could play and leave. It plays pretty good, but you have to get used to the stylus movement, which I found really weird at first. I also noticed some scratches on the touch screen from the stylus, so go easy on it.

Re: Ds Kiosks in stores
probably dumb little kids playing the thing press down like maniacs on the screen because they have never done a touch screen thing.
So, in the end, after getting used to it, is the touch screen movement comfortable?

Re: Ds Kiosks in stores
Well in the Metroid game, you use the stylus to aim, which does take getting used to, but in the end it's fairly comfortable. Personally, however, I had problems with the control type it was set on, as using the stylus with my right hand is very hard for me because I'm left handed. I'm pretty sure you can change that around, but then I'd have to move my character with the button pad or something, which is weird...
I didn't get to see if it was a strain on the hand holding it, because the system is fixed to a stand. You can sort of get a feel for the weight of the system though, and its definitely heavier than I expected. I'll have to try it again sometime and get a better judgement.

That is one sexy little handheld. I work 32 hours this week, so I'm going to use my massive paycheck to buy the DS along with Super Mario DS.

If you look at the picture in the first post, you will see that's exactly what they did.

It's worth noting that Nintendo has created a few alternatives to the stylus including a little nib that attaches to your thumb so that you can simply hold the DS as you normally would hold a handheld and reach over with your thumb to hit the touch screen.

Any release date to that thumb thing?
I'm still thinking about importing a DS with 1 game. Then sell it 2 weeks before the EU launch.

The "Thumb Thing" will be included, connected to a little wrist strap, with every single DS shipped worldwide.
