Re: Police Use Stun Gun On 6-Year-Old Boy
Headline: Man-eating-gorilla climbs Empire State Building, proceeds to sing 'Yellow Submarine'
Article: LOLS WOULDNT THAT BE FUNNY IF IT HAPPENED? OBVIOUSLY IT'S FAKE BECAUSE THAT COULDNT POSSIBLY HAPPEN. APRIL FOOLS, HEHEHE HAHAHA!
later that day:
"hey, did you hear some gorilla sang on top of the Empire State building? yeah...it's pretty crazy, man...make sure not to get eaten. I'm DEAD serious"

I never said they were pushovers.
Im saying nomatter how crazy a 6 year old is, he is still a 6 year old. Unless the kid lifts weights every day, you just smack his arm with something and restrain him. Hes 6. Now, I could understand the taser if the kid was like, 10 or 12. But 6? Thats like, Kindergarten still. (depending on month)
Are you saying you coudnt restrain a Kindergartener?

Did the Toddler threaten the police?

Yes, and it would be equally as easy to smack the kids arm with a club, or mag-light. Those things arnt light you know. If you give a good smack, it hurts.

Stun gunning the kid willl hurt him less than cutting his own jugular with the glass.

i'm on the cops' side here...they did the right thing, they stopped him before he could deal further injury to himself or others...

and that's exactly what it comes down to. plain and simple.
the cops handled it...if the cop had tried to "whack the toddler on the hand" and the kid ended up cutting something and further damage was done, people would be saying "why didnt the cop use the stun gun?! THINK OF THE CHILDREN!"
and I never said the kid threatened the cop...he threatened to hurt himself, but that's besides the point. you used a person-with-a-knife example, and I was referring to that.

Pushover is another way of saying easy to handle. That was what you were talking about.
There's some pretty crazy ass kids out there. You just haven't taught an elementary class yet.

Thank you GM for that shocking discovery. It seems you have electrified the board with this headline.

Re: Police Use Stun Gun On 6-Year-Old Boy
I don't see any problem with what the officer did but having not been there I don't know whether it was needed. I tutor 2nd graders every week at the local elementary school and there's nothing that a swift smack to the face can't handle
