I've read somewhere where George Lucas doesn't 'recognize' EU as part of the movie plotline... Like he won't make movies based on them, and if the books say something that contradict the movie he's like "WUTEVA!" or if a book says something, then he makes a movie that contradicts it he's like "WUTEVA!"...

I think they should start making movies like they do EU stories... Random and jumping all over the timeline, even if they ain't handled by George Lucas... Maybe they'd be better that way...
