I can think of a lot of ways to make control easier with the touch screen.

Sure, if you just want to keep the principle of "up, down, left, right", you might want to stick with D-pads and sticks.

1 genre that will greatly profit from these controls is strategy. RPGs can use it for map movement and menus. It's perfect for party games.
