Wow. Thats probably the best example of making mountains out of molehills I've ever seen. So now a conservative President with a high regard for national defense is the next HITLER!!! Wow, by those criteria I could easily make a case for Kerry being the next Stalin and Michael Moore being Satan incarnate!!! WOOOO!!! EVERYONE! OVERREACT!!!

I feel no need. Just look at his reasoning and what point is made? The point that you can turn pretty much anything into your argument if you stretch it enough? Its absurd, and I don't have the time for absurdity.

I just dont think you can post any good counterpoints against it, so you are saying it isnt worth your time to show the illusion you do have points.

Well, even if he has no real good point. He did a good job of proving his point. He showed it with evidence, even if he made it look like a bigger deal than it is.

I don't quite think he compared Bush to Hitler, someone in this thread did, but it wasn't Neo.

Just because he claims he believes the government seems to run quite like a facist nation, doens't mean he was comparing GWB with Hitler, you are the one who drew that conclusion, unless I missed something.

As for not responded, no offense, but even if this was full of hot air. Who do you think a common person would believe a person who goes ..

I'm not disagreeing with you on his point, but don't you think it looks a little.. bad when you can't or won't make counterpoints?

Even after 9/11 your chances of you being killed by a terrorist are practically ZERO. Your chances of even seeing a terrorist are practically ZERO. You are so many more times likely to be killed in an auto accident on your way to buy a loaf of bread. Why not declare war on bad driving instead of terrorism?

I believe the threat of terrorism is way overblown. Yes it is a problem but it's not worthy of the level of fear that the media and the Bush administration has let fester in this country. Being fearful plays right into the terrorists' hands.

Although car accidents are well... Accidents (although sometimes preventable), and terrorist attacks are deliberate acts aimed at killing innocent people... I agree with you 100%, terrorism is still way overblown, we're spending way too much money on trying (keyword) to prevent it, and what happens in the process of trying to prevent a few dozen... Hundred.... Thousand (September 11th was an exception, most terrorist attacks don't kill in the thousands) people from dying over the course of.... What? 10 years? We lose a few thousand troops in under 2 (that's if you even count Iraq as part of the war on terror)... Kill a number of terrorists, but occasionally innocent people... While spending boatloads of money which really we didn't have to spend in the first place...
