I got the game for review just recently, and have been playing it for a few hours now. Biggest problem I have is the AI of your teammates. They seem to be quite stupid, falling off cliffs and using mutant powers on enemies that are imune to mutant powers...makes me frustrated at times. However, I do have those moments of enjoyment where everything feels good and proper. I do find some places to be idiotically hard for no good reason though. Like in the sewers where you are often SWORMED with enemies. Some of them will stun your whole group over and over again while the bigger annoying asses pound on you doing a ridiculous amount of damage. And there's not nearly enough health packs to be found, considering there's a insane abundance of MP packs that I rarely even need to pick up.

It is fun though. I'm reminded a lot of my childhood x-men memories. Cool stuff. So far it aint bad, but I'm getting kind of frustrated at parts.

Yes It was a sweet time playing it at Dylans house. I love Colossus, he can pick up anything and he has a cool accent too.

The complaints you have are the same ones I have. I go through Energy like crazy, but I dont worry about it because I always have a ton of Energy packs, while quite often I'm scrambling for survival because there is no Health pack to be found. And yes, the AI can be EXTREMELY annoying. My brother and I have been playing through the entire game together, so I have only had to put up with 2 stupid people...but that was more than enough. What I find most annoying about them is how they get in a doorway and just stand there, not letting me through.

Overall though I still say it's a great game. If it starts to get frustrating I just head to the danger room and gain a couple of levels, then I can easily wail on the enemies. I am enjoying this game more than any other one I have played in a while. There are few games now days that can keep me interested for so many hours straight.

And Dylan, that is a great team. If you level up Cyclops and Storm's leadership ability, you can gain insane amounts of bonus XP from combo's.

Today I unlocked collosus....and he does have the coolest voice in the whole game! My brother has elected him to be one of his new core characters. I like all my characters too much, so I am constantly switching them around, which results in my characters being a couple levels below my brothers, but I dont care.

I'm glad Vampyr decided to make this thread becuase I followed the status of this game before it's release and it always looked good. And now that I have some good reviews from some well trusted, well known friends I am definitely going to get this as soon as I acquire $54.11. Thanks guys!

Has anyone here actually beaten the game yet? I'm wondering if there is an option to replay missions after you have beaten the game. I have a bad feeling I missed the qualifying exam disc to move up to the Senior level of the Danger Room, and I might want to go back and find all the comics some day.

Today I beat the mission that takes place after Magneto surrounds the earth with asteroids, and all hell breaks loose. There were like a million sentinels in the city, and a million people to rescue. I got insane amounts of experiance from it though, but wsa forced to survive on no more than 3 health packs through the whole mission. I had to pass around a single tissue generator to keep my characters alive between bouts with the sentinels.
