Second: I'm confused. This quote doesn't make sense to me. Can someone explain what she was doing please.

In older houses, the bath tub is in the kitchen area. If she's that old, maybe she's held on to an older-style house: which would explain why the bathtub is still in the kitchen.
It was a way to make plumbing easier back then. You only had one section of the house that needed water. |
