Default Projection Television

I was surfing the web one fine day when I came upon the projection television. The back projection television like they use is sports bars to project onto the wall.. I did find a forum that talks about building one of these projection monitors I was curious if anyone has ever attempted something like this yes or no ?

I dont know about those types of projection televisions, but my family recently got a rear projection Television. Its a 53 inch widescreen Panasonic. Progressive scan, HDTV ready, the works. All for only $1500.00

If your interested, Id totally recommend one the picture is really bright...only bad thing is they arent exactly small...quite bulky because the projection tube is in the back of the television and it needs to be some space away from the actual screen to project right. And youve kinda got to be at eye level with the screen for it to be perfect...otherwise it darkens a bit. But the picture is very bright and vivid, not to mention crisp. It sure as hell beats spending 5000 dollars on a Plasma that in all actuality probably dosent give a much better picture.
