Too much Hype was created over it, and in consequence when the hype was not all completely true, people get pissed. I thought my post pretty well implied all that, what with the and all. I know it's not a bad game, and it was hyped up to the ass, and all that. My point was, I thought a 9.3 was a great score, but just like Wind Waker, which got a 9.6 instead of everyone's expected 9.9-10.0, people begin to go berserk and say a lot of stupid sh*t, i.e. ign boards.

Don't give me that, you can't tell me a ZELDA game had anti-hype. Lots of people were bullsh*tting about the graphics, but everyone was looking forward to it. First Zelda on GCN, you can't tell me it wasn't hyped up to all hell.

Depends on who you look at. Some people hyped it up (namely objective and mature game players that understood the market) and others didn't (the standard game players that bitched about the graphics.

I'm not denying that it was hyped. I'm just saying that it kind of depended who you were looking at.
