What's that monster made of? Any idea what the best heatsink material is?

Haha, I was gonna say, I didn't see what the big deal was about the fan, until I saw the comparison shot.

As for overclocking, anyone have experience overclocking a P4 2.4GHz B (533FSB)? I have a decent enough mobo to be able to change the speeds, but I've never had balls big enough to mess with such expensive components.

It's made of all Copper (best heat conductive material for a heatsink)

When I bought the heatsink, it had just came out and I paid around $50 for it.

For the fan, I have no clue. Hero2 couldn't stand the noise (he had no fan controller) so I got it from him for free as an Xmas gift.

And typhoid, a heatsink is a thing that helps to transfer heat away from the processor so it doesn't overheat. And no processor (past 1990 at least) can survive without a heatsink to transfer the heat off from it.
