So maybe store demos are pointless too?

I agree that getting a bonus disc upon preorder is logical, but what if you're already an NP subscriber (like myself), and have always planned to renew your subscription (like myself)?

Alright. I'm kinda pissed. I've got a lot of Nintendo first party games. And yet most of them are too old to have the product registration code in them. Therefore I only have 3. So if anybody's got an extra one or two, please, send them my way.

Other than that, how do I get my fricking Gameboy player off of my system to see the GameCube serial number?

If you were ever online, I could help you with that

But it's simple, you take it off the same way you put it on

But seriosuly, you can use a nickel to take off the GameBoy Player, just unscrew it.

Demos aren't pointless in all situations: But, I think it would be fair to say that Metroid Prime 2 won't stray very far from the type of gameplay that was in the first Metroid. Personally, I don't want anything to do with the Metroid 2 demo. I can't wait for the game, and I just feel that every bit of gameplay I don't play now will be much more enjoyed later. I feel that way with Halo 2 as well. I also felt that way with Warcraft 3.....I could have beta tested, but I was so excited about the game, I just said no. Demos can help new players decide if they want or like the type of game, but some store demos are fairly limited.

If you haven't played Metroid Prime, and you don't intend to play it before the release of Metroid Prime 2, then go for it and get the demo. =/

If you're renewing your Nintendo Power, then it's a good deal, but if you're subscribing to Nintendo Power just to get the game........I don't know. I like my EGM.

Nintendo Power isn't really all that subpar, I guess. It's just a tad bit biased, and I like some decent console debates, even though I'm no fanboy.

Yeah I agree, it's just like movies, for some movies you just don't want to see trailers, because they might contain spoilers.

I'll admit it. Since there's no way in hell I'm going to run out and buy three more games (even if they're the cheaper NES Classics for GBA) and register the PIN numbers, I've given in and decided to subscribe to Nintendo Power.

Yes, once again this train wreck of a magazine will be delivered to my house every month. It's only $20, so it's not a HUGE loss.

I'm hoping that it will be a while before Nintendo decides to do another promotion like this. I fear it's gonna be like 13 games next time, so hopefully I can buy some more games and track down more PINs before then.
