Why blame anything? If your kid commits any kind of serious violence for no good reason then he/she is messed. Either due to the fact that the kid is just retarded, or it's the parent's fault.
You see, parents these days are really lazy. They aren't as strict as they were back in day, and look at what it's doing to this generation of kids.
I really hate when people, or even the media for that matter, can get away with blaming violence on other things/people. Need an example? The media tried blaming Columbine on Marilyn Manson. WTF is that ****? The kids were ****ed, that's it. Bunch of neo nazi punks who eventually turned the gun on themselves because they realized how stupid they've become. What's even worse is that the people of the modern world have become mindless zombies that will believe anything the media tells them. So if the media says video games creates violence amongst kids, then you can bet most people will take it seriously.
