The new beta patch is now availabe for testing.  2 new heroes: Firelord and Goblin Alchemist.
I've been playing with it for a couple of hours and it's cool. The Firelord is a bit overpowerd though.......
I like the Blademaster's windwalk much better now, he can walk through units .
Select 'Westfall' as your gateway and download it automaticly.

True, the Firelord is currently unfair. Especially when the other team all use Firelords, talk about being newbie-ish. But alas, the Blade Master can still kill them with a couple Wind Walk strikes. |

The summons are too powerful. 1 lava spawn turns into 4 eventually......

While WC3 is a good game, i dont own it because even i have standards. But what exactly is so special about the Frozen throne expansion? Why is it such a big deal to get it?

New units and heroes, creating a more fair, balanced, challenging game.
And if you just play the offline mode, Frozen Throne is a continuation of the WarCraft story. So, if you didn't buy Frozen Throne, it would be like only reading Fellowship of the Ring and then just stopping there.
