It's well being made. They made a big deal out of it at E3. Single player is the same as the '64 was except with much updated graphics and a few tweaks here and there. Multiplayer is Xbox Live compatible.

I think they should make this game totally unstandably cute. The other one was changed from a cuts kids game to a violent, adult-rated one, so why couldn't they switch the fromat back?
And also, I agreem, Bad Fur Day was one of the best 64 gaes ever made.

I think they should add a hidden Cute Mode that is very hard to obtain but when you do, you'll play through SP again and laugh.

I was reading trought the Xbox mag i got and it has a big article on the new game.

It says that the new game coming out is Basically a re-make of the first one. Chapter for chapter. There are some slight changes to graphics, weapons and characters.

But on the plus side they added Xbox live.

Man this sucks I was looking forward to playing a new game with a different story line.

It's still a great story with memorable moments.

I saw a video for it somewhere, apperently some of the multiplayer is like post apoctaliptic like in the Termanator movies.

Is any one going to buy it or at least rent it?

Jonbo, I was specifically referring to this. It had little to do with the topic besides someone wanting to feel better about Rare leaving Nintendo. You really can't even mention Rare on a thread now a days without someone taking a shot at them who is bitter about their departure. But thats just my opinion.

But what it never said ( i dont think) is if you can do multiplayer, with just your firends. Lame question i know, but i didnt see any split screen images. So im thinking this game is either only Xbox live and single player. Which means you might not be able to have the joyous time playing "war" with 3 of your buddies most of us enjoyed from the first.

All i can say is, if someone can find me somewhere, or prove to me that it does hold real-time-in-person multiplayer, i will buy the system 100% for sure, and same with the game.

Cant wait until march.

And they'll stop as soon as Nintendo fans stop acting like 8 year olds when it comes to Rare. It's really quite annoying to go into the Xbox forum and every time a Rare thread is started it is immediately littered with childish/fanboyish comments.

How about next time I go into the Nintendo forum I just start talking about How Nintendo has virtually no big games coming out besides Metroid or that most of their games are targeted towards kindergardeners? Would that be at all helpful, appreciated or even valid? No. And neither are the litany or retarded Rare cheap shots.
