Very easy to say when you're living in Canada. Once you're attacked and people you know and care about die, we'll see how your feelings change.

Re: More things to be scared of
I'm not scared of the terrorists. They've only done one MAJOR thing to the US but haven't done anything to us since then (as in, on our soil). I know about the USS Cole attack and the '93 bombing, but those weren't as big as the one in '01. Until the government stops giving us "an attack may occur but the info is so vague, we don't know whats going on". I can understand they don't want secrets shard to the public because of possible chaos, but when you keep hearing that over and over, you don't care anymore, IMO.
Terrorists can get as smart as they want. Until they can find a way to actually get past security and pull off a plan, no worries for me. *sits back and looks at the cornfields outside with no worries*

Re: More things to be scared of
I remember watching a news story about people in small towns being afraid of a terrorist attack. This whole alert system has whipped everyone into a frenzy. Even those who aren't near anything worth bombing.

You act like security is actually good. The only part of the airport that is remotely safe is the secured area, but there's just as many people out in ticketing. Why bother trying to sneak onto a plane and blow it up when you can bust out an automatic weapon and kill more people waiting in line for tickets and security. Not like our security guards are any good and would be able to stop them.

Re: More things to be scared of
I wasn't trying to say our security is all great and everything. I know it has flaws but you can't help it. You never know what the employees in the airport are doing when not working. I know our security isn't perfect and I know terrorists are trying ways to get past it again but until they can pull it off, like I said, I'm not worrying.

Re: More things to be scared of
Err.. N/m what I said before.. Security is getting better but it's nowhere near where it should be.

Re: More things to be scared of
Get like 4 trained guys and they could go on a rampage in an airport. Think security can stop em? Ya, right. You could easily level the ticketing crowd, take out security, and then mow down the rest of the airport. Could they stop that? Probably not.
Best they can do is spot a gun someone is dumb enough to leave in their carry-on bag. God forbid they use it.
