Ive read the script dealy on gamefaqs for what happens, and so far i've seen 2 videos for the "special" ending. One is in japanese, and isnt cinematic, and the other is cinematic, has no talking, but sint where the thing says it is.

Not just 100%, I think. I believe there's another ending where Tidus shows up as kind of a dream form. Like the dead people in the Farplane in FFX. I haven't seen it, though, so...

I didn't really like FFX-2 either; mostly because of the story. It just didn't seem like a natural progression from the end of FFX. I could see sphere hunters happening, and maybe Rikku become one of them. But Yuna just seems wrong.

I also dislike the whole idea of Tidus coming back. It ruins the ending of FFX. In FFX, Tidus tries his best, and succeeds, at finding a way defeat Sin without Yuna having to sacrifice himself. But then he does what he stopped Yuna from doing and gives up his life for the greater good. Deep (ish). Bringing him back just ruins it.

And don't get me started on the J-Pop. *shudders*

I think that they should have gotten rid of the whole Yuna/Tidus thing. Their story was over. They should have expanded Paine's story and made her the main character. She's where the actual story was. Yuna didn't have jack happen to her "story" until the end.

Rikku could have stayed as a character (she fit) , and someone else used to replace Yuna. Baralai and the other guy (Youth League leader) should have been included as playable.

Separate note: The Tobli model was in FFX. If you wander around Luca (near the Sphere Theater) in FFX, you'll see "Tobli." It freaked me out when I played FFX again after I beat FFX-2. I never noticed the guy in X, but now I go "Tobli!" everytime I pass him.

Well, thats good, because he doesnt come back. I think the perfect ending one is the farplane one, or a dream or something like that.



(Yes, i knew Tobli was in FFX, but wtf is he? A duck-man-boy-thing with a sort of stutter...)

EDIT: One more thing that pissed me off, i think i might have mentioned it, but its the fact you cant go inside the city of Bevelle.

That pissed me off, because they had a possibility to make a really cool high/low tech FF classic city kind of thing, and they didnt.

Thus, why I didn't even bother even attempting to purchase FFX-2. Basically, the whole "girl power" thing was kinda in the previews.

I liked the the game, I'm close to beating it. It's fun and light hearted, which is a nice change of pace in the serious world of RPGs.

No, the very very best ending has Tidus coming back. You have to hit "X" to whistle in the Farplane at the very end with 100%, I think.

* After the credits you see the following scene

[ Tidus appears in fetal position and slowly looks up; he is floating in
water. Tidus is in Besaid. Tidus swims to the surface then whistles,
when there is no reply he walks to the shore as the Celcius lands and
sprays water on him. Yuna jumps out of the airship and hugs Tidus. ]

Yuna: Are you real?
Tidus: I think so.
Tidus: Do I pass?

[ Yuna nods ]

Yuna: You're back.
Tidus: I am back.

[ Yuna and Tidus hug ]

Tidus: I am home
Yuna: Welcome home.
Yuna: Yes, home.

[ Rikku and Paine laugh from the airship ]

Wakka: Hey, get a room you two!

[ Crowd gathers on the opposite shore, everyone cheers ]

Wakka: Whassup?
Tidus: Who asked you to watch, Wakka?

[ Lulu laughs while holding her baby ]

Rikku: Hiya!

[ Tidus grabs Yuna's hand and runs to the crowd ]

Tidus: You know, you've changed.
Yuna: Well, you've missed a few things.
Tidus: I wanna hear everything!
Yuna: Well..
Yuna: It all began when I saw this sphere of you.

[ Zooms past the celcius then fades out ]

Perfect Ending

* See this after the Good Ending after you see the credits

[ Tidus and Yuna are standing in the deserted Zanarkand Ruins ]

Tidus: I got a theory.
Tidus: I think the fayth gathered up my thoughts and put 'em
together to bring me back.
Tidus: Maybe. Something like that.

Tidus: Or maybe.. I'm still a dream.
Yuna: Wait! so you'll dissapear?
Tidus: Cherish me, Yuna. And I'll cherish you.
Tidus: All right? We gotta stay together. That's what we have to do.

[ Yuna runs up and holds Tidus from behind ]

Yuna: Is that what the Fayth told you?
Tidus: Nah. But I like it.

[ Yuna and Tidus laugh then Yuna pushes Tidus into the water ]

Tidus: That's not cherishing!
Yuna: You didn't disappear.

[ Yuna smiles ]

D. Good Ending A
----------------

What you see: Normal ending + Good ending A (Good one)
How you get it: There are two requirements for this ending. Firstly, you
must talk with Maechen in Guadosalam in Chapter 3, and secondarily, when
Yuna falls into the Farplane/Field of flowers in Chapter 3 press X until
you hear whistling 4 times. When you press 'X' in the field of flowers
(Farplane Abyss) at the end of the game you'll be given an option by the
fayth. Select the first one ('Yes!') to get this ending.

F. Perfect Ending
-----------------

What you see: Normal ending + Good ending A + Perfect ending
How you get it: To get the perfect ending you need to first fulfill all
the requirements as outlined in ending D. After watching the good ending
portion there will be an extra clip if you attained 100% completion in
the game.

As much as I loved Final Fantasy X, I don't even want to touch this game.

Yeah, i saw both of those endings, but in Japanese, which is why it confused me, because the one at Zanarkand isnt cinematic, but the one in Besaid is.

And Dylflon, im only saying it was this bad because i had high hopes for it, while its not "the awesome" its still pretty good, and i still reccommend playing it if you already havent done so.
