Not quite true. Yes maybe if they are friends through association of a school, but I've had 4 best friends that I've known since birth, and I can't imagine that we won't always stay in touch. Or parents are friends, so it made sense that we became friends. Well in your case you're fortunate that you are in a band together and that you guys have parents that are friends. But, I'm saying, for the most part, you lose friends and make new ones as you get older.
