good poem. kind of seems like it would make a good rap.
i would post some more of my poetry but i don't have anything with me and i'm not feeling inspired. I was asked to be a part of the National Who's Who among Poets, but I haven't submitted anything... might be too late now.

Just to let you know, thats usually a scam. They send you an email, or a letter, after youve submitted a peom on the website or mail, Then they ask you if you want to buy a book with your poem in it( among others) and the book is filled with like minded peoples poems. It is only sold to those who submit the poems, and it costs usually about $200. My friend almost got scammed into it, he got an email saying he was invited to a poetry reading in L.A. and he only needed to pay his money in advance through chequing or visa to a certain website.

Well, actually I've been published before and the book was kind of expensive but it is in college libraries and a couple of stores in Europe (that I know of for sure). They have asked if I want to buy one but I'm not going to. It is just for the sake of being able to say that my work is in print. So the word usually is going a bit far

True, but i dont even want to put my 'quality' pieces in it, in fear of plagorism. 
Are the people here who write things, too scared to show it or something? I mean come on....we need peotic diversity here.
But i will try to post more in here, and i encourage others to do so as well.

I don't actually write poems often at all...It's something that I don't quite have the patience for. I'm not really good at revising my work, and that is something pretty much essential to poetry because every word is so important...If I was still writing more poems, I'd probably post them, but I haven't written any and don't plan to for a bit..
