The next world power will be China. Even if Communism falls in China (which it will), an eventual modern China will rise out of it. Even right now, the People's Liberation Army (China's Army) is the largest standing army in the world. And the number of men fit for service exceeds the population of any country except India. I think the official number of men fit for service is like... 260 million. That's not it's army, just the number of possible men it could draft.

Right now China just doesn't have the wealth and military technology to do much. But, I know that one day China will rise to either rival or even take over America's power and influence. Time is the only variable here.

Also I had a dream that I was shot while in a war with China. Kind of weird, but I think it's predicting something... maybe.

I wonder if China would ally with the Koreas; they'd have their hands around some serious firepower if they did.

Probably not. They'd probably just annex them to China.

China definitely does not want a nuclear-armed Korean peninsula. In fact, China will most likely be the one who peacefully disarms North Korea.

Yet they have missiles pointed at Taiwan, threatening to blow it to pieces if it ever declares full independence.

They ( China) will probably do what Hitler did with Stalen. Sign a non-aggression pact....then attack them without provocation.

But i do have a feeling all of the Asian countries (excluding Russia) will semi-form an alliance. Not arming them or anything, but doing what America did with Canada, Britain etc. By just trying to influence their opinion on the other freindly nations.

China hates Japan.
Japan hates China.
The South Eastern Asian countries hate China, and Japan.
India hates China.
Pakistan hates India.
India hates Pakistan.
Iran hates Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the US (who are in Iraq right now).
Actually everyone in the Middle East hates Israel.

Do you see where I'm headed with this? Eastern people do not think like us, nor will they act like us. They hate each other and there are even declarations of war between a few countries (ie. Pakistan and India).

The chances of it happening?... very slim. At least the European nations have something in common: they're white Christians (majority wise). They get along much better.

When i said asian countries, i meant the stereotypical ones, like Japan, Korea, Vietnam, etc. But yes, i do realize that they all hate China..well, i know it now.

But if China was smart, in order to be a world power, you need close allies, you cant have all enemies. No, im not defending China, i particularily dont want China to ever be a world power. But if they were smart, they would try to patch up the holes with their neighbouring countries.
