highly doubtful. HL2 will run same on either ATI or Nvidia.
Expecially now that we're quite a bit after the cards HL2 was designed for. HL2 was designed around the 9600XT.

when i first got my nvidia GF2...it was buggy as hell....so i stuck to ATI ever since...now im using a 9500pro...and i couldn't be happier.....well...with this card anyway...i would be happier with a 9800pro
