This is the flaw in your thinking. You want developers to NOT make games for the XBox. This is out of the fear that if that happens people will actually get a XBox because if it has the same games, they will be superior because they are on a superior system.
I don't care if every game that comes out is available on every console. It wouldn't affect my thinking at all when it comes to the XBox. I won't love MS more because they forced another company to make their games XBox exclusives. Halo can go on every next gen console for all I care. As long as I have it, its all good.
