Re: Cookies: Weapons of Mass Destruction?
You won't die by touching a cat though. A perosn allergic to peanuts could, if they ingested one.
The only thing that's come up at my school about people with peanut allergies was in my drama class. My teacher sells candy during class (she's a little eccentric), including peanut M&M's. But since there's a kid in the hour follwoing our's who is allergic to nuts, we can't open the M&M's in class.
I personally agree with not allowing peanut products in classes and such with students with allergies. Yes, its annoying, but not having your PB&J won't kill you, but it could kill the guy with the allergies.
And separating the kids with allergies wouldn't be good, either. Its just a disability that everybody around that person is going to have to get used to (just as the disabled is going to have to get used to being disabled). In my drama class last year (everything seems to be in my drama classes...), there was a girl with some physical disability and couldn't walk by herself, so she had a walker. The class opened doors for her and when we made up our owns skits, we had to make a part that didn't require too much movement so she could participate.
Kind of the same thing.
And the kid threatening attack the teacher with a Nutter Butter is a retard. That's no better than threatening her with a knife. Its not a joke.
