I dont have a job yet, but in the summer im going to be a Stock boy for a lightbulb company. And my boss is going to be my brother......thats kinda sh!tty...eh Dylflon?

well, eventhough it is an old thread, i'll post:

I work because it is required to keep my scholarship. we're required to do a certain number of hours of campus work to pay back our scholarships. I work 5 hours a week as a calculus tutor. its not to bad, but i still don't like it

Well, midterms are soon, so I'll be looking for a job after that. If I can't find anything, I'll probably go back to the gap.. because my old manager said there is a job waiting for me if I need one.

You need to pace yourself Typhoid. There are enough threads here without having to bring back old ones. At this rate, you're either going to burnout, or you will pass Deathshand in post totals and then we will all secretly make fun of you and comment on how we believe that you do not have a life.

What are you talking about, you guys already do that on the Pm's and the Private message boards....its not like it can get any worse, and to be honest, im only on for like, 1 hour a day, i was just home form school that week so i racked up a bunch of posts. And to answer your question, no, i dont really have i life, id get one, but hten who would you all mock and make fun of?

My old night job was giving me rashes and the whatnot so I had to quit.

Last summer I worked at a cherry sorting place thing and it sucked. Well, i worked from 5 until 3 am so i had the day all for the beach and stuff. A lot of kids from my school worked there as well.

I'm going to have to stop mooching off of my parents for gas and whatnot. I might try and get all my courses done in the summer so I can grad a year early from highschool. That would be nice. No job then. Thanks for reading about my life. out.

I don't really like cherries anymore by the way. They don't have the same appeal.

I hate my job. I work at full serve gas station. I pump gas when it's cold, I pump gas when it's snowing, I pump gas when it's raining, and I pump gas when it's blazing hot outside. Customers are stupid, they dont know what theyre talking about. I'd say, if you want to see some of the stupidest people in the world, come to my gas station. I get paid $7.15CDN per hour, not too bad, could be better though. Also our gas station always has the lowest prices so we're always busier (that AND we're like the only full serve left in town, and people are just too damn lazy to pump their own gas, ha, I'd like to see an old lady try and figure out to work the gas pumps, which, by the way, isn't hard at all, but that's obvious).

The point is... working at a full serve gas station really sucks.

I'm 95% sure I'm quitting my job tomorrow. Stress is overboard and I can't stand being a level 2 technician. I'm not a person to be a LEVEL 2 TECHNICIAN. Level 1 is MUCH more suited for me but since the ISP is pissing me off, I'm probably just quitting tomorrow because I can't stand the stress anymore.

Looks like Cox will be next

There is an easier way to make money you know....A while back, me and Dylflon played the guitar, told jokes and danced on the outside of a beer store and pulled in i think $20-40 in about 2-3 hours.....its kind of work, but you dont really notice it. Panhandleing is the way to go....( we also kind of Conned people though, we said we needed the money to go to camp, and all we wanted was a bag of chips and a slurpee...)

I work at the Gap too for those who stand, fold, and greet............ I do the same, except I'm like the only known computerist in the store, so I'm usually the one at the cashwrap doing FAST check outs, unless I have to call in an online return which I hate.
