Got to see a vid clip i downloaded of what happened with bertuzzi. and bertuzzi is a cowardly piece of ****.
he better get a BIG pentalty for it. at the very least he should be out for the remainder of the season and all of the playoffs. A writer at ESPN.com is saying at least a 1 year suspension should be set for him.

Sports nation has a nice term for him... 'gutless'

going to to seek revenge is one thing. but when your so much of a ***** that you do it behind the guys back, thats just horrible.

IMO, Bertuzzi should be out as long as his 'victem' is out. if Moore is out for a year. Bertuzzi should be, If Moore's career is ended....... As should Bertuzzi's.

I pretty much agree. He should definitely be out for the season, playoffs included. Probably much more beyond that...but, isn't hockey supposed to shut down after this year? At least that's all I hear about.

P.S: LET'S GO FLYERS. I'm feeling a little better about them. They're still doing alright without Primeau, Roenick, Desjardin, Pitkanen, and Sedienberg. They've been torched by injuries and still have an outside chance to win the conference. If they get everyone back and clicking once again, they could make a run.

Bertuzzi should be booted for the rest of the regular season, playoffs, and be nailed with a SERIOUS fine that will make him think twice about even LOOKING at someone else the wrong way. That videoclip makes me sick...

i know im a LITTLE late for replying for this but it pisses me off that this was taken as severely as it was. Yes the shot was cheap, but Berts out for a good year and a half, and moore will be back in time for the playoffs...Hardly fair, and i saw that last night Marty Turco high sticked a player in the face, blatently... and only got 4 games, and hes a repeat offender. It was just blown up so much from the media, and because it was Bertuzzi. I am though a big fan of his, and his hitting steve morre doesnt change that, hes still a good hockey player, stupid but good

First of all, don't triple post. You could have easily made all of your points in one post.

Secondly...Yes, Bertuzzi is still a great hockey player, but he made a really bad mistake, so he's paying for it...It's all about the severity of the injury basically. Of course the intent wasn't to break the guy's neck, but that's what happened so he has to pay for it big time.

Moore is not going to be back for the playoffs, no chance in hell, they still don't know whether he'll be able to play hockey again...Not sure where you heard he'd be back, but it isn't happening. Here's the most recent ESPN article..http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=1766245 He just got out of the hospital today and has to wear a neck brace for 6-12 weeks, I don't believe that you can play hockey in a neck brace.

Plus, I dunno, I love the Flyers. Honestly, I don't think they'll win (Goaltending is the issue once again...), but I always hope that they do, that's what being a fan is about.

no he wasnt thinking. and obviously didnt mean to break his neck. and better believe feels bad about it.

problem is it happened. he did it. and deserves punishment. he lost control of himself and bad things happen.

Yup, he deserves that. It was kind of funny seeing his reaction 4 years ago to the Marty Mcsorley incident, lol. Kinda ironic.
