anyways, unfourtunatly, i'm probably not going to buy it, i'm waiting for the 6 dvd set.....

Someone mentioned this to me at work. He was pissed though because apparently the ones they put on the DVD are going to be the ones they re-did and put in theatres a few years back. Like I know they fixed the landspeeder thing and there was a different ending to Return of the Jedi. Dosent really bother me much though. I'll still get it.

Yeah. The only small downside is that its the re-release '97 star wars. I guess the reason they chose those versions for the dvd is because it was the way George Lucas intended to have the movies look. But I guess the original vhs copies will still be in our collections (if you have it that is)

I have the originals and the special editions on VHS (^-^ I hope they release the originals on DVD...

Nothing like the Jabba dance scene person... Or the Ewok celebration...
