The teenagers thing is a tangential comment and a joke besides.

You just made it seem like you think he believes that special effects are the only thing that makes a movie great. In fact, he didn't even say the movie is great. Maybe he thinks the movie is mediocre but the special effects make it worth seeing at the theater. If you claim in your next post that you didn't jump to the conclusion that he said the movie is great, how is your question in any way directed at him or in any way relevant? Either you jumped to a conclusion on his statement and I jumped to a conclusion on yours, or we both posted irrelevant questions just for the sake of making jokes that bash someone. Your pick.

What about just buying a pizza at the theatre? Well, if the theatres in your crib have those pizza places inside them. Those are so cool.
Plus that way you don't end up accidentally spilling the pizza while sneaking it in underneath your shirt and getting sauce all over your pants or something. It's hard to pick up chicks when you have pizza sauce splattered all over your clothes. Well, not fat ones, but...

Re: Guess the date Revolutions is coming to DVD
Our theater doesn't have a pizza place in it. And just trying to smuggle stuff in is half the fun...It can be dangerous and exciting, I don't know, I've never really done it, but I can see why it may be fun. Well, I have snuck candy in, but that is child's play, gotta go for the big things.

Re: Guess the date Revolutions is coming to DVD
Look, Morpheus, I could sit here for the next few minutes and decipher all the convoluted logic we just got into or I can just leave it at this:
Yeah, it looked to me like he was saying the movie was great just because of the special effects, but I wanted to give him a chance to clarify. So I made that post hoping he'd explain himself.
You apparently thought I was attacking him or something, so you made a post giving me a chance to clarify myself. Now I have done that.
Since I haven't gotten any reply still, it's all a rather moot point, don't you think?

I don't think so... it all depends on the argument, and if worse comes to worse jus piss him off to the point that he gives up ... but methinks moprpheus knows this already.

Re: Guess the date Revolutions is coming to DVD
It's just my opinion...but...
Matrix was awesome.. and the reason it did so well, was by word of mouth. Unfortunately... the sequels faltered. They relied WAAAAY too much on special effects. I hate that. Granted, the first one had special effects.. but they were completely revolutionary to the american audience, and they weren't the focus of the movie. The second sequel... eh.. the only thing I remotely liked was the highway chase scene. The scene with all the Agent Smiths attacking Neo.. SUCKED. The graphics weren't that great! The third one... eh... it just went downhill. To me, it seemed like the directors were trying to focus less on storyline, and more on making "revolutionary" special effects. I like special effects, but not when the movie has to completely rely on them, and if they are much more subtle. Also, the storyline went downhill. I know there are a lot of matrix fans out there, but I think LOTR was WAY better, as well as Finding Nemo. The only way I could be DRAGGED into seeing the last matrix, was if it was on a local IMAX screen...

Re: Guess the date Revolutions is coming to DVD
I remember smuggling 2 plastic bags full of popcorn into a theater. We did it just for the heck of it, but it worked! And I didn't want to buy from them.
And drinks. Don't forget drinks. Drinks are 5 times more expensive in the theatre than in the supermarket.
