Yeah, I'll have to agree with canyarion. If it is a constant problem, you might want to save all your stuff on your computer to data CD's, and then reformat it.

If that doesnt fix it, then maybe you dont have good enough specs for the game your playinig?

But if it freezes up when your playing something like yahoo checkers, than you have problems.

What kind of games does it freeze up on, and what are your system specs?

It only freezes up in 3D games. Never during windows. Ive got a P4 2.66ghz with a Radeon 9500 pro, so it can sure as hell handle the games im playing. Strange thing is sometimes it wont freeze...I mean, its not garunteed to freeze...sometimes I'll play for an hour or more with no problems...other times it will freeze quite quickly. Its all so random. I know I dont have anyspyware or background programs bogging me down. Ive even ran a few stress tests with no problmes...it boggles my mind. Maybe I'll have to think about reformating drive C. I could stick important stuff on a Data CD I guess, like you said. How exactly do I go about revormating my hard drive? Ive never done it before. I mean, it dosent get rid of windows with it does it? Am I going to have to reinstall drivers and all that junk? Because thats a major pain in the arse.

That's the same thing that is happening to me Jason and I have virtually the same card as you do. I've tried everything and nothing has worked.
