Special Powers and Supernatural Events
1. Have you ever had a strange experience that you couldn't explain? Like something strange that appeared as if you caused it. For example, maybe you touched someone's can of soda and then it froze solid.
2. If you answered yes to the above question, do you believe the experience was the beginning development of mutant powers?
3. Have you ever seen someone else display signs of mutant abilities?
4. Do you believe in mutants and being able to have special powers?
5. Have you ever had a paranormal experience? Like, maybe you got up in the middle of the night to go the bathroom and a ghost was staring at you? Or maybe you were camping with some friends and you witnessed a large, hairy creature walking upright that closely resembled a man.

Re: Special Powers and Supernatural Events
Mutants, not yet.
Ghosts, no.
i beleive that mutants will be real within the next millenia (sp?) due to all the radiation produced on the planet, it will eventually absorb ito our bodies and cause wierd genetic deformaties in our children and our children's children and so forth. evolution basically
and the pic could have been edited by someone very skilled with photoshop

Re: Special Powers and Supernatural Events
I like this thread. I like it a lot.
This one time something supernatural happened while I was at school, eating lunch. I was sitting at a round table, with 5 other friends. This girl sitting next to me was drinking water out of a plastic bottle. She had it sitting on the table between my tray and her tray. She started to reach up to get her bottle to take a drink. When her hand was halfway to the bottle, I quickly scooted my chair to the left, away from her. 3 seconds later, her hand makes contact with the bottle, knocking it off of the table, spilling water all over herself and the area I had been sitting in only moments before.
So my friends have all decided I have the ability to travel 3 seconds into the future, see what is going to happen, then come back.
This other thing happened once that kind of freaked me out. My parents and I were driving home from a shopping trip. On the way home, we passed through this open field. Evidently there was an airport nearby, because airplanes passed over ever so often, and they were really low. My Mom was looking out the window at them, and then all of a sudden she was like "wow!", we ask her "what?" and she explains that she saw this silver "crack" in the sky. I didnt see it, but she swore that she did. We thought it was kind of cool.
When we got home, we discovered a close friend of the family had died. Any connection? maybe.

Re: Special Powers and Supernatural Events
Once, my two friends and I were outside in my yard at night. We were looking up at the stars, and we saw this one light, the size of a star zigzaging around the stars. It was going one way in a straight line, and when it came close to a star, it was change direction and go into another straight line until it came close to another star. It was very weird, but really cool, and I was very curious about it. I wonder if I was just imagining things, but my two friends saw it too. *shrugs* I wonder what it was.

Re: Special Powers and Supernatural Events
Deja Vu would be the correct spelling. Hmm, Deja Vu is very interesting, sometimes I hate it, and sometimes it's real...like when I had my drivers ed thing, and the guy took me on the same expressway in the same direction twice. But when you're not sure if you've already done something or not, it sometimes makes you think..and it just makes you go crazy sometimes.
Oh and also, isn't it weird that whenever you're in a car and you look at someone else in a car, when you're at a red light, and they sort of know that you're looking at them? And whenever someone is looking at you, you look up and kind of knew that they were looking at you? I always thought that that was a sort of sixth sense for us, or maybe I'm the only one who notices that.

Deja Vu is an interesting concept. A glitch in the matrix??? maybe...but probably not.
Ive heard somewhere that deja vu occures when the brain accidently registers an event that is occuring as a memory.
And I have also noticed that you sort of "know" when someone is looking at you. For example, someone could be making absolutley no noise, but if they stand beside your bed while your sleeping for a period of time just looking at you, you will wake up. It's weird.

Numerous a time I'd be singing a song in my head, turn on an online radio station, and hear that the song in my head synchs up with that on the radio. Coincidence, nothing more. Though it does happen quite often.

Re: Special Powers and Supernatural Events
Mutants do exist. Not like the kind in X-Men, but there are humans with mutated body parts. Along with other animals that are mutated.
So yes, if you dont believe in mutants, than you are just denying the facts.

Re: Special Powers and Supernatural Events
I always know when people are looking at me. I think that is nothing more than peripheral vision, though....
And one time in my basement, this guy appeared and he was like "You what's up guy, you got a smoke"... and I said no, then he ran up the stairs and out of the house... I went upstairs, and my front door was open! OWAH!! WOAH!!!
