Okay, I ahve at no point said I was in support of Sadam Hussein. I don't think he's a good guy. In fact i think he's a son of a bitch. I do think him killing innocent people was wrong. I don't think it's right when anyone kills civilians. And calling me a nazi doesn't add credability to your argument and I am very offended by you saying i gas people and that I'm a Hitler youth. I have relatives who've died too. Died in WWII. My grandpa served in WWII and was almost killed a number of times. I don't like Sadam and I don't like Hitler and i especially don't like you calling me a nazi.

And the problem with reading the newspaper is that you're only reading the good stuff about what america is doing. Not all civilians get along with soldiers. Many of them fight them becasue they don't like their neighbourhoods being occupied.

And I didn't find out the U.N. was mad at america for the imprisonment of Iraqi-Americans form a taliban news source but from a British one.

And on the privacy bit,

the Patriot Act was what the american government used to imprison many of the prisoners that are in that camp right now. And my problem with it is they never showed any real evidence of them being terrorists.

In fiction the big brother concept comes from the very well written piece of literature called 1984. The patriot act resembles closely the beginnings of something very much like the Big Brother program in the book 1984. That's why I made the reference.

What kind of evidence do you want.. You want one of them to run into your school and blow up the building before you put them in a WAR detention center ?

No because I read the army times and the other news papers on the internet even the ones from england.. And sure they fight because they don't like their neighborhoods being occupied then should not resist and everyone would be out of there soon..

And I don't care how many news papers you read. The U.N. wants to know what the hell the deal is with the camp.
And who are you to say that it can't happen? The Patriot Act seems like a nice big first step towards that.

Yeah this thread started as me saying when I'm getting deployed then it turned into a political argument with dyflon saying just don't kill any civilians..
