Default Next Gen GBA design Ideas

Here is something that I was thinking up. Since the Ique is so small and still is able to play 64 games, I was forseeing the new GBA being ready in the next 2 years. Here are some ideas that would make it cool.

- instead of the d-pad, they put on the eraser head analog joystick (like those on IBM laptops)
-obviously the super nintendo button layout
- wider overall body
-stereo speakers

The major thing needed is a joystick and AT LEAST 4 buttons on the front. A bigger screen wouldn't hurt. And make it pretty comfortable to handle.

4 face buttons. That's all I need.

I don't know. I'm personally really looking for a bigger screen. Like the Zodiac Tapwave.

I think the larger screen would be worthwhile.

Those things SUCK.

Everything else I like though.

not having 4 face buttons THIS time was bull****. Typical nintendo.

I would love it if they could make it just a bit thinner, maybe. And a bigger screen would be awesome. And a SNES layout too. Sweet, I can already see myself playing it.

I really don't have any problems with the SP though. I think it's really sexy.

That eraser thing sounds bad... Would't an analog D-pad work? Probably not

Well, I assume a majority of the games on the next gameboy will be 3D. So, definately a larger screen.

Basically, the same size of the original gba only with the gba sp flip up screen. That's the only way i can see them getting the screen bigger and still allowing the unit to be comfortable with four buttons. Something like this...

and also a 'minidisc' type format so it doesn't skip. Although, i'm betting nintendo will still be going with the cartdridge setup.
