Re: What did you get?
Well, It's a bit odd of an odd story, but I'm not celebrating Christmas until the 26th.
You see, usually, we don't celebrate with the extended family until after Christmas, but this year, we're doing it on Christmas day (later today.) My intimidate family and I like to spend a lot of time opening presents (I have younger sisters.) so Christmas and the opening of presents is an all day affair, since we have to go out today, we decided to wait until tomorrow to open up our presents.
And actually, I think that's pretty cool.
So I'll let ya'll know tomorrow.

Re: What did you get?
a TV I'm supposed to help pay for (and it turns out it's damaged... Like it's been dropped and the corner bust open... so we're gonna get a replacement or a discount)
a self help book from my uncle who always bugs me and my brother (go to school, get an education, get a job, read the bible, get a haircut)
and 48 bucks...
But around thanksgiving my parents bought a new computer and DSL... Which I consider kind of a big family christmas gift... Even though I don't think my dad wants me using it's 2.8 Ghz, 512MB RAM, and DSL for games...

Re: What did you get?
My Birthday and Christmas combined (birthday being in January) from Santa, direct family, and distant family (grandparents and the like) only puts about $200 to the computer that I bought.
Aside from that, today I got two small tupperware, a small box ( Magic: The Gathering card holding devices), a Weapons and Warfare book for LotR, a KMFDM shirt, and a LotR poster. The last two being from my sister as part of an "out-of-the-hat" sibling-to-sibling gift exchange.
Compared to what I see from the majority at this board, it appears as though I got the shaft. However, I've gotta remember that those outside of my direct family are asses who like to receive more than give, and my parents have to pay for five children's gifts.
But I'll make up for it when I invite a good half dozen friends over for my birthday.
P.S. Damn Deathshand... nice gifts! But yeah... I've received many a self-help "How to be a true Christian and stay away from Satan" books from my "ex-Aunt". It feels awkward to be happy not getting them anymore... I mean, a gift should be a gift, right? Nope, it just sucked more than it was worth. I feel for you man.

Re: What did you get?
Hmm, a bit late, but still good. Let's give the memory a good jog:
-An Onyx Gameboy Advance SP
-Madcatz GBA SP case, peripherals, and headphones (actually looks good)
-Foodstuffs (Beef Jerky, Chocolates, chocolate-covered cherries, Reisins, tons of stuff)
-Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
-CD's
From my parents/Santa. From my grandma:
-Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising
-$50
-Curly Laces (useful.. I think)
-Pens (I guess I need some O_o)
Father's work associates
-$50 to EB
-Even more chocolates
Other Grandmother:
-Clothes
-money
-Weird scrabble-like game, looks fun
Uncle:
-$20
-Terry's Chocolate Orange =D
Friends
-Animatrix DVD
-DDR Kit (Anti-persperant, towel), Gamecube/Mario Sunshine neck-keychain (SWAG!), and a bunch of old PS1 games all from Dylflon
My brother got Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, F-Zero: GX, and a Flame GBA SP. I also bought Golden Sun 2 with the $50 recently, and an extra memory card. We didn't have any open memory on christmas day! We played our games without saving for about three days until we finally went into town to find some memory cards; there is not one damn official memory card left up here: 251 or 59. I ended up buying an extra 59 from my cousin, so that's worked out.
Anyways, yeah, really great. Looking forward to my birthday too. I peaked into my grandma's bag for me and I saw a Gamecube game wrapped, and something else. Don't know. I've lifted the paper to see what they both were.. I saw the word Avalanche on the Gamecube, so that has to be 1080. The other.. I have no damn idea.. O_o I think I see.. a boy's head.. and a couple of digital clocks? Maybe it's a cell phone.. or something? I don't know. I'll get back to you on it.
