I was never under the impression that he is struggling with being Spiderman. I just thought his struggle was trying not to love Mary Jane so as to avoid getting her involved in everything. However, he does love her and can't just bury these feelings.

Well, that's the struggle, because if he gave up being Spiderman, than he could be with Mary Jane and live a normal, happy life, but on the fateful night when he let the burglar run by that later went on to kill his Uncle, Peter wanted to avenge Uncle's death by: A. specifically killing that robber and B. preventing future deaths and crimes using his newfound abilities. Doing this also makes him feel like he's making up for the mean thing he said to his Uncle the day his Uncle was dropping him off at the "library" and his Uncle was talking to him about "with great power, comes great responsiblity" so yeah, he's in a real pickle.

Yeah, it was a great film. I thought it was the best comic book conversion until X-men 2 came out .

Can't wait for number 2 (or X-men 3!)

That would be sweet if a 3rd one was made and venom/carnage were put into it. And with CG effects getting better each year, they could both look like carbon copies of their comic images with the exception they are more "human" looking/real looking.

I think that they should make the Spiderman movies like the Bond movies, just keep pumping them out, passing hte role of spiderman from person to person.

But anywho, I can't wait for this one!!
and X-Men 3, the Pheonix dominates all!!

Also comparable to Batman.

And I agree with everyone else that the next movie should most deffinatly have Venom and/or Carnage. Out of the two, I would prefer Venom. He is my favorite villian ever in the spiderman series.

Best Case Scenario:

The next movie after this one will be based entirely off of the "Maximum Carnage" saga.
