Actually, the 2 player mode made the game a lot more complicated. You can create a strategy with 1 player very well but with 2, you might as well be telling what the other person should do. (Not that FFIX needed any actual strategy to beat.)

In an interview with the Final Fantasy XII developer Yasumi Matsuno, a few new tidbits are revealed about the game:
The game will be in 2 DVDs
Very little love elements in the game
The game style resembles Vagrant Story
Huge world map
Many people will be surprised: "Is this Final Fantasy?"
Tight controls
Official showing tomorrow, whoo.

lol i thought it was FFX-2 for some reason. I just saw FF and ran to the video. Was thinking "Where's Yuna" until the end said FFXII.
