Hey, Question you guys - didn't the Fallout series do this for their last 2 games, with no real gripes from anyone?
I sort of remember that Fallout has "collectors" and "bonus" editions from release, and some (I believe) come with extra game-content than the others - for If not, then
oops.
I mean, I sort of understand how you guys feel you're getting fucked lube-less. I don't sort of understand it, I completely understand it.
However, if you don't want the DLC, just don't get it, you know.
If you can still complete the game without the DLC, the DLC is not mandatory. Its just bonus content that you can get to expand your own gameplay, but the loss of it doesn't alter your experience for the worse.
Look at it this way - were you really excited for this game before you knew about the DLC? Yeah? Good, go back to that thought - the part where you didn't know about the DLC. Then when you play the game, you're not thinking "Man, I'm
rrrreeeeeaalllly missing out on Kasumi and Zaeed. They're
clearly a pivotal part of this game." Did I say Kasumi and Zaeed? My bad. I meant whatever other DLC character they have this time.
Or if you'd rather - buy the game and play it for 2-3 weeks, then look at the DLC content and just pretend it was suddenly released - because that's miraculously acceptable, right?
I hate DLC either way. But that's the way gaming is now. I'll probably get the game when I can, but I won't be getting the DLC, because I never get DLC. Because I, too feel the whole "Fuck you, you're not getting my money for something you didn't include in the game" thing. I'd still get the game if I was originally pumped for it, though.
