Do you realize you're just as tired as "bashing Sony"? Just a thought.

Re: PS3 - France Launch Event
Why would you stand in line when you can just preorder/reserve your PS3 and pick it up somewhere during the day? Guys, it's Europe.

Re: PS3 - France Launch Event
I just love Microsofts marketing techniques. First they buy ALL the add space on PS3.ign.com and fill it with XBox360 ads, and now they drive a freaking barge past ps3's launch event. What's next? They hire master chiefs to beat up people standing in line for ps3s?

Re: PS3 - France Launch Event
well at least the guy is kinda cute, not my type but cute.
The launch in Australia happened as well. It was "modest". Ppl lined up, but nowhere near as many ppl as the Wii/Xbox360 launch. My friend bought one, I couldn't believe it. I can't afford one, $1000 is just ridiculous, even if there is a blueray player built in.
I will get one when the price goes down.

Re: PS3 - France Launch Event
Good news guys. Apparently the PS3 sold quite well over the weekend, shattering previous console launch sales records.
600,000 systems sold with plenty of supply left.

Re: PS3 - France Launch Event
Yeah I have to say, not bad.
If I'm allowed to play the fanboy here: the console was out months later than in the rest of the world. That meant more supply and probably more demand too.
Sorry for that comment.
