Default Zelda trailer observation: flooded/nonflooded areas

Someone over at IGN noticed that these two areas appear to be almost identical. Unflooded Hyrule and flooded Hyrule?

Someone else tries to disprove it:

I suppose it's logical seeing as this is the sequel to WW. As for the differences, it could be that these scenes take place at different times. More time traveling? Well, at least you'll be swimming instead of sailing...or so it would seem.

It looks like draining that water is probably one of the missions. Either that or both those pictures are different parts of the same forest that just happen to look similar.

and in the next metroid there's going to be a light world and a dark world and some weapons will work only in one and some only in the other and....

Jesus christ I'm so sick of this game mechanic.

Hm, pretty interesting...

Stonecutter, I'm not tired of these mechanisms yet... It's always a nice addition and gives more depth to the game.

Unless of course everthing depends on that 1 thing... then I agree, we've seen that a bit too often.

Perhaps the weather effects have to do with the flooding? There's some heavy rainfall in that trailer...

It could simply be like Gamemaster mentioned, an area that you can flood like to access another area...

Or something...

I'd much rather it be just a single area that gets flooded, wether for a puzzle or due to some event that happens during the game than there be two seperate worlds, one flooded and one unflooded...
