How do you know they were Christians? It just said they were brought up in some 'religious environment' and went uanaware. If it was some Christian extreme cult or something like that, they would have had PLENTY of kids. They would have memoreized the whole book inside out and would have known of the laws about proof of virginity, dangers of being with harlots, the story about Onan spilling his seed during intercourse, the significance of a virgin Mary, adulterers, fornicators, and the like. Couldn't have been Christian extremists. Remember San Diego's 'Heaven's Gate' crew who killed themselves waiting for a spaceship behind the Hale-Bopp Comet? They were prolly in something like that. |
