Star Fox 2 may not be a WIP title. It's not known for certain, but it's possible that this may be the unreleased Star Fox 2 for the SNES remade. IGN asked if the ROM could maybe be included and playable in Star Fox (Armada at the time?), and then a few days later the official name changed to Star Fox 2. So who knows?
All I do know is that the Private (complete) beta build of Star Fox 2 I have on my computer
rules. Hopefully they're actually going to release it (remade or just included as an extra).
