Sloths are extremely slow.
Jackrabbits can reach speeds of 40 miles an hour.

They can pretty much race cars obeying the speed limit in some cities.

The sloth only has a chance if the jackrabbit is dumb enough to stand still for the claw swipe.

If a rabbit can attack a snake I'd say a sloth is fair game.



Then again I dunno how the rabbit would reach the sloth. Perhaps the sloth can go kamikaze and let go of the branch landing on the rabbit.

And here is a sloth on the ground. His claws could never move fast enough to penetrate rabbit. It's like zombie roadkill.

I couldn't believe that! Snakes can be pretty lightning fast with their strikes. Why didn't the snake just give him a bite and kill him? Instead it was running for the tree!

This was actually a tough one for me to decide, but then I remembered:

Slow and steady wins the race!

Did nobody remember that story about the tortoise and the hare? Same rule applies here.

The sloth would be ripping the jackrabbit in half with those claws at his own speed. It's all in the technique.

I think Chewbacca's face resembles that of a sloth.

I chose sloth because I think they're cool.

Rabbits growl and shit. And they'll stomp you, hold you down, and bite you. Really hard. Sloths look like my fat lazy coworker who quit all of a sudden and left me all the work he hadn't been doing for the past year.

Rabbits rule.

Sloths are better. Look at the claws. If I remember from The Magic School Bus they also hold an entire ecosystem in their fur.
