What are you asking for for Christmas?
As the title states, basically. I want to know because for one im curious, for two I need ideas. My parents just asked me what I want today and I really have like 1 or 2 ideas, other than that im pretty much clueless. And if it wasnt one of those 1 or 2 things, it is on my brothers list so chances are im getting it anyways. So im hoping if everyone else lists what they are asking for, and from that I can gather some ideas. Thanks everyone.

Re: What are you asking for for Christmas?
Aside from a Wii
probably some DVD titles, various DS titles, some books that ive been wanting to read but too lazy to go out and get. If you get stuck you could always llok through flyers and stuff from a local newspaper, seeing something might joogle your memory about something that you wanted/needed but completely forgot about. |

Re: What are you asking for for Christmas?
Not a whole lot from my end. I've just grown less fond of Christmas because I don't want things from others.
The most I'll ask for is just things like gift cards or some stuff for the kitchen but thats all. |
Re: What are you asking for for Christmas?
Clothes, mainly.

Re: What are you asking for for Christmas?
I have come to a time in my life now where I find myself interpreting the question 'What Do You Want For Christmas' in an entirely different light.
Does it necessecerely mean 'what do you want me to buy you' or 'what toys do you want' as I percieved it as a child. Or the way I percieve it now. I am inclined to answer whith comments such as 'To have a happy time with my family and friends' as it is pretty much the only time of year now that my entire family gets together. I suppose thats what I have now come to ask for from christmas rather than standing to gain material posessions. If I want something I buy it, it's a simple concept. I would be inclined to ask people to buy me practical things that I actually need. My parents are divorced so I get extra presents, lol. I could ask them to put their money together and purchase me a washing machine. Boring I know but infinately useful. I would say look around your house, what do you 'actually' need. You mentioned mabey something for the kitchen. If so what. Plates, cups saucepans a microwave? Mabey there are things you never considered before like for example a blender, deep fat fryer or bread bin. Not exciting I know but all serve a useful purpose in some way or another. I need some socks :shakehead Hope I have helped in some way ;) |

Re: What are you asking for for Christmas?
I don't like to ask for things. Especially when the person has no idea what the thing is upon asking. I'm content if I get anything at all. Prefer gifts that people give you based on what they think you like rather than straight out telling them exactly what you want. Those items that fulfill the want I buy for myself.

Re: What are you asking for for Christmas?
I am going to ask for some Wii and DS titles (titles sounds so much more mature then games) as well as a watch...mostly Wii accessories...and if my parents really love me they'll get me a BIG tv.

Re: What are you asking for for Christmas?
I already told them what I kinda want..for kitchen stuff. But nothing major. I've grown beyond asking for things I guess. I either don't want anything or just give me gift cards and I'll buy whatever I feel like >.>

Re: What are you asking for for Christmas?
The family's Christmas gift this year is Hawaii. I'll be on the island of Maui sipping tropical drinks in a swimsuit if the weather is nice.
I wouldn't have asked for anything personally because I buy myself whatever I want throughout the year. Maybe some blank dual-layer DVDs? |
